It was national Grandparents Day on Sunday 1^st October 2023. A huge thank you to all the grandparents who were able to attend our Year 2 Assembly and tea party. Many of the grandparents we recognised already from meeting them at drop off and pick up times but it was also great to see so many new faces and welcome them as well. During the assembly, the children sang songs and shared what makes their grandparents so special to them. After the assembly, the children took their grandparents on a tour of the school before returning to class to enjoy an incredible selection of cakes provided by the parents.
